From the Moda Catalog:

Flowers have been my obsession since I was a little girl. Not only are they pretty, smell scrumptious, and bring beauty to my life, but they also evoke memories of my granny as she tended to her beautiful flower garden. Flower Girl channels spring days filled with sunshine and innocent laughter–when you didn’t have a care in the world and could embrace life.

The collection features sweet and feminine florals in soft shades of cream, blush, peach, buttercup yellow, and sage and grass green. Flowers remind me that no matter what hardships I face, I can still grow strong roots and shine brightly every day. If you live your life like a flower, you’ll always bloom.

Channel your inner flower girl!

The Flower Girl collection has 34 prints plus a panel. It is available in bolts, Fat Quarter bundles, Fat Eighth Bundles, Layer Cakes, Jelly Rolls, Charm Packs, and Mini Charm Packs. This collection also has a cute Grandmother's Flower Garden block panel. Available through Moda Fabrics.

Talk to your local quilt shops about carrying the Flower Girl line of fabrics and products.

About the Collection

I could not be more excited to have Flower Girl as my very first fabric collection with Moda Fabrics. This collection is everything I could have hoped it would be and more. Y'all know how much I adore floral quilts and fabrics and I knew I wanted my collection to embody everything I love. From the floral motifs in the fabrics to the floral quilts to the colors of each print. It combines my favorite color combinations: pink, yellow, and green. This vintage-inspired collection is a true reflection of my soul and I hope you love it as much as I do.

How all this came to be:

Fun Fact: I actually designed this collection to be part of my fabric design portfolio. Many of you know, I have been working towards becoming a fabric designer since October 2021 and I had my heart set on one company–Moda! They were my dream company. I have been using their fabrics since I began quilting and I just love them so much! While working toward my goal I created a bunch of designs and envisioned them on fabric. I had developed a few other collections prior to Flower Girl (let’s just say they didn't make the cut into my portfolio). When I designed Flower Girl, something just clicked. I just loved it so much! The colors, the designs– everything was beautiful. After talking with my husband, he gave me the courage to just submit it to Moda to see what they thought. Worst case, they tell me to keep working. In all honesty, that's what I was prepared for. I was nervous because it was only one collection for them to look at instead of a few for them to understand me as a designer, but I took the leap anyway. I just had to know if I had what it took to be on their elite design team of designers or if I needed to keep working. Moda receives so many submissions from talented designers from all over. To my surprise, they loved the collection, too! Within a few weeks, I was signing on as a Moda designer and began working on production for Flower Girl. I got the exciting email that they wanted to sign me as a designer when I was traveling to Tennessee in the Smoky Mountains over Thanksgiving. I think I had all the emotions on that car ride. And so the journey began!

You might be thinking, “I’ve seen this collection before.” You're right! I shared an earlier version of my Flower Girl collection on my social media last November. While waiting to hear back from Moda, I just had to see how it would look on fabric, so I got it printed through Spoonflower. I took photos of it and shared it on social media to see what you thought. Y’all loved it!!!!! I got so many wonderful comments and messages, even a few of you were upset that you couldn’t buy it right then and there. You'll be able to get your hands on it very soon! Take a scroll back on my social media to see the full post. But I’ll also share it here:
