Heard some talk that UofL could be in some trouble. Guy on 840 am sports talk was giving his thoughts, but i only caught the end of it. Has to do with football and a recruiter. Anybody have any information on this?

Totally false, this is old news. They are looking into Clint Hurt and his recruiting days at Miami. If he is found in any violation it would be his and Miami's to own and has nothing to do with Louisville what so ever. This is the ONLY reason he has kept his job up till now with the football team.

This story is now over one year old...................Yawn

If it's over 1 year old, then why was it on the front page of the Courier-Journal yesterday?

I know it's pretty difficult for the local Louisville media to get out anything negative about the Cards from right under Jurich's watchful eye so there must be something newsworthy to it.

I don't claim to know if there will be any ramifications to UL other than perhaps Hurtt being banned or having to do a "show cause" as to why they should keep employing a convicted cheater.

Because the committee is just now dealing with it again. And just so you know Card hater the Courier could care less about protecting Louisville. This story is well over a year old and the allegations were actually brought to light right after Hurt came to Louisville. Tom Jurich and Strong both contacted the NCAA and they were assured that until and unless anything more came from this they were fine. Also any and all alleged wrong doings pertained to his stent at Miami and nothing would leach onto the Lousiville program.

Do some homework, even the local news sports guys said this was the ''ORIGINAL'' allegations being investigated further and would have no bearing on Louisville.

Jurich tells the papers what to print, sometime Michael you are funny...
